DIN Rail-type Surge ProtectorsThe KumSung Electric SPD series surge protectors are used for the incoming power supply of low-voltage main incoming boards. They are to be connected with large economical surge protectors through a parallel connection. They can be used in areas where lightning strikes frequently and cannot be easily distributed.

Product description
KumSung Electric’s Class II Din rail-type surge protectors can safely protect the power supply of electric systems of facilities and equipment that use low voltage AC of 50/60 Hz and 220 V / 380 V from the lighting-induced surge and the switching surge, as well as the surge overvoltage

It contains highly efficient MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) and GDT, making up for the loss that the surge protection device could suffer when lightning-induced deterioration occur, it can cause the current to leak.

In pursuit of both convenience (in carrying out maintenance) and economic feasibility, the protection device (MOV) is provided in a module (plug-in type) that can be replaced. It can be installed in a restricted area.

The modularized protection device will turn green when it is normal, and it will turn red when it is faulty.
